Trying to go sweets free

Dinner last night was very yummy, per the hubby's request we made chicken quesadilla. Mine had six cheese blend, chicken, onion and black beans.

Served with some salsa for a pretty presentation.

After dinner I did a Bootcamp work out for the chocolate from earlier. I am blaming that eating binge on it being that time of the month and that made me feel better about it.

After the workout I sat down to relax and working on a gift for my friend's soon to be here baby.

Being inspired by a fellow blogger, I am going sweets free today. Yes just one day, but that is a LOT for me. So no sweets today (which should be interesting with a lunch meeting at work today, but I saw the food and the desserts did not look great).

I did some overnight oats this morning to help get me on the right foot.

1/2 cup oats

1/4 cup soy milk

Handful of almonds and cranberries

Warmed in the micro this was a nice start to the day with some coffee.

I also think that for the next week I am going to up all my workouts in prep for the holidays being here. Hope that helps out.

Happy Hump day!

  1. Your post about going sweets free for a day actually scared me! The only way I could go sweets free for a day is on Yom Kippur! All the power to you if you can do this!
