Oscillococcinum Review

Don't you just love finding packages on your front door? Especially when you do not have to pay for them! The great people at Naturally Savvy have again sent me a product for review. This time I got to try Oscillococcinum . This product is to help with flu and cold symptoms.

I love these types of product and am a huge fan of them all winter long to avoid setting sick. Here is the information about Oscillococcinum from the manufacturer:

OSCILLOCOCCINUM: DRUG FACTS

Uses:

Temporarily relieves flu-like symptoms such as feeling run down, headache, body aches, chills and fever.

Directions:
Adults and children 2 years of age and older: Dissolve entire contents of one tube in the mouth every 6 hours, up to 3 times a day.

Children younger than 2 years of age: Ask a doctor before use.

Oscillo is available in 6, 12 or 30 doses. Also try Children’s Oscillococcinum.

Active Ingredient:

• Anas barbariae hepatis et cordis extractum 200CK HPUS - To reduce the duration and severity of flu-like symptoms

The letters “HPUS” indicate that the active ingredients are officially included in the Homeopathic Pharmacopœia of the United States.

Inactive Ingredients:

• lactose, sucrose

Warnings:

• - Do not use if glued carton end flaps are open or if the tray seal is broken.
• - Ask a doctor before use in children younger than 2 years of age.
• - Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen.
• - If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
• - Keep out of reach of children.

Things that I love about this product, easy to take, no water needed and comes in little bottles that are easy to carry around with you to take when you feel a cold coming on. I am not sure if these type of products are 100% effective but they always help me feel better when I am sick. They are all natural and safe to take so like I said I like to keep them on hand for cold and flu season in our house!
