Sweets of any kind are so appealing. They make your mouth water just thinking about them and far too often, they are the first thing you reach for when you're having a bad day or things are getting a little stressful. Having some candy seems to be just the thing to get us over the hump of a bad week, but unfortunately, it doesn't do much for our waistline. Wouldn't it be nice if, instead of buying sugar-loaded candy in the grocery store, you could find a way to adapt your own recipes to make them healthier?
The recipes shared here are incredibly easy to make. Another bonus is that most, if not all, of the ingredients required can be found right in your pantry, without an extra trip to the store! Probably the best thing about these recipes, however, is that they can be easily adapted to make them into a healthier treat. Instead of using so much sugar, consider halving it, and see what happens! Try things out, and you never know what you could come up with. Just have fun with the recipes. Your sweet tooth can still be satisfied with just a few simple changes! When you're all finished, display your homemade candies in some cute candy jars. So sweet!
