Last week Hubby and I tried this rice blend with dinner one night. It was not bad but it was a little bland. Hubby suggested it would make a great Greek Salad type dish and since he was out the next night, I got to creating!
Here are my ingredients ready to go:
The rice blend, red wine vinegar, flavored olive oil, oregano, feta, cucumber, olives, and onion
I put the olive oil and vinegar in a bowl and added the warmed rice blend. Then in went the cucumber, onion, olives, and oregano. I mixed it all together and added the feta at the end.
This was an awesome dish. It hit all my taste buds. I can’t wait to make it again. What fun things have you done with items you did not like the first time you tried them?
