I have been on this quest to make bread at home. I love knowing what is in the bread and I think it just taste so much better when you make it at home. I am thinking working on my bread making skills, but my most recent batch was much better.

This loaf has been my best yet, but hubby still thinks it is very dense. Any advice from bread makers? My birthday is coming up and I have been offered a bread maker as a gift, but I am not sure if I see the point? What do you think, is the bread maker worth it?
My bread did make a great French toast!
