Side Walk Chalk!

Do you go through a lot of sidewalk chalk like my girls do? I think they use a ton each time they go outside! A while back I had to order some Plaster of Paris to make a hand print for Little B (I had the kit from her sister minus the plaster).

Since the smallest container was still 4 lbs, I need to find a use for this stuff. Then I learned you can make it into chalk! So I ordered a fun mold for the girls (they love stars)  and some tempera paints

This was super easy 1 1/2 cups of Plaster of Paris and 3/4 cup water, then color to desired shape. put them into the molds and let dry 24 hours or so. 

And here you go!

As you can see they are a big hit!
