First wedding of the summer!

Hubby and I got up bright and early on Saturday morning to head down to our college town for a wedding. We started the morning with some good breakfast.

Hubby was nice enough to start my oats 1/3 cup oats, 2/3 cups water to which I added 1/2 a banana, the last of my black and blueberries and some sliced almonds. With some Earl Gray tea it was nice and filling (which was a good thing before a long trip)

Picture mid drive

We stopped around 11 and grabbed some drinks, I had a Sugar Free Vanilla Latte and we decided we would wait until we go to the hotel for food.

Once we got to Virginia we knew just want to get for lunch! Sheetz MTO's! Not exactly healthy but hey it was a long trip.I had the California Turkey flatbread with bacon, swiss cheese, tomatoes, guacamole, and turkey. Hubby and I split some fries and onion rings as well.

Since this was our big meal of the day we decided that it was ok.

The wedding was nice and small and we had some fun things to eat at the event, baked potatoes, cheeses, meatballs, and vegetable shooters along with some Raspberry Punch.

Here is the bride and groom with the pretty cake

And hubby and I at the beautiful venue

We had an awesome time and it was so fun to see friends again (see you all in a month at the next wedding!)

Sunday morning I got up early and went to the hotel gym to do a quick workout in case I was not up to when we got home (which I was not, so good thing I got in a good 30 mins on the bike!)

We hit the road around 11 and stopped at Sheetz again for food. Look what I found

Tastykake Latte's in VA??

I just tried a little taste because it was really sweet. But I had to get the pic! I actually got a Fat Free Caramel Pecan Latte and a BLT Pretzel Melt. It was nice and I good until an ice cream craving in Maryland, luckly hubby stopped!

We got home and picked up the puppy and some grocery to make a healthy dinner.

Pizzas on Naan bread. Hubby and I have had our share of pizzas disasters....but this worked out so well it will be our go to pizza at home method. Done on the grill these where awesome!
Mine was in the front with 1/3 just cheese, 1/3 with olives and cheese, and 1/3 with sauce and cheese.

It was a great weekend but we needed the extra day off!
