Wedding #2

This weekend Hubby and I again headed to Virginia for a Wedding. Only 1 more for this summer, but that one will be a much longer trip;)

We spent Friday night with one of Hubby's friends in DC, and then set out Saturday morning after breakfast for the south. Here are hubby and his friend Greg.

We hit the road and stopped at Sheetz for lunch again!

I had a veggie sandwich on a a whole wheat toasted bun with fire roasted tomato sauce, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, olives and provolone cheese. Hubby and I split the cheese fries because well why not!

I had to share the cute presentation in the bathroom at out hotel room...

And yes hubby packed the duck in my bag when we left yesterday.

Just a pic from me and hubby at the wedding. We did not get a group shot, but we had a great time with some amazing friends. I wish we could see them all more often (not just at weddings!

We had breakfast at the hotel before heading out on the road again. Made a nice breakfast for myself that keep me full for a while

Tea, yogurt with Cheerios, and an English Muffin with PB. Then in the car for 7+ hours with hubby, thanks to the snack bag we made it safely!!

Once we got home we decided we did not feel like cooking and since the last time we had Chinese was well when there was snow on the ground, we decided it was ok last night. We just had a simple veggie lo mein and fried rice and split both with some leftover still.

I was so glad to have got in 25 mins on the bike yesterday morning on the bike at the hotel, because Hubby and I both hit the bed early last night.

This morning poor Hubby needed to be up at 5:30 this morning so I got up with him to make breakfast.

Chobani Honey with blueberries (I swear) and Cherrios for some crunch.Then since I was up so early, I did some Sculpt and Cardio with the Bikini Revolution.

Some errands before work then time to get busy. Lunch was pretty simple

Salad with radishes, cucumber and some balsamic dressing, strawberries, apple (for a snack) and some Ghiradelli Chocolates I also added a few pretzels from the bin at work.

Just a few random is my sunflower plant that actually grew this year. I planted it last year.

I was so excited that I had to share.

On a different random note, so I weighed myself this morning and I am up a few lbs over my happy weight. I don't feel like I gained weight for anything but this really put a downer on my mood today. I feel like I have been working out harder and all lately so this just upset me a little. Any advice on how to stay motivated when you hit a little set back? I have not hit one in awhile so I am a not 100% sure what to do this time....


  1. you know what, you may just be gaining some muscle :) if the clothes fit better or looser, then dont worry about the # on the scale :)

    p.s. love the dress you're wearing in your dancing picture.
