Dinner Thursday night was a quick chicken parm. I took 2 chicken breasts and coated them in a mix of Seasoned Bread Crumbs and Panko breadcrumbs. Then baked in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Add pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese to the top and bake 10 minutes more. Sprinkle with parm cheese and serve with pasta. So yummy and easy.
Friday morning was a quick breakfast before hitting the road to work with hubby. Earl Grey tea and Chobani Vanilla with Bare Naked Granola.
We packed lunch for the car to share.
We only ate 1 bag of the Popchips -Cheddar, and shared the carrots. The cottage cheese and salad (yes it is under there) was all mine (Hubby had a sandwich) and we each had a cookie!
Breakfast at the inlaws was just like at home.
Tea, Chobani, and fruit both morning!! Love that my MIL has tons of fresh fruit when we visit. We even used some to make an awesome English Summer Pudding (similar to this but not this recipe).
But yes it did look like this!
Hubby and I bought this Chocolate Martini Mix with us (this is from a company that I plan to start working with in the Fall). My mother in law and I enjoyed a few:)
Had a yummy lunch on Saturday with fun cheeses (the inlaws also love cheeses!!)
over baby field greens tossed with cucumbers, fennel and candied walnuts, tossed with our famous honey white balsamic vinaigrette. So yummy!
But how cute are the glasses that Hubby's Beer Sampler came in!
I took some pictures of the Stool Hubby built at Christmas for his parents to put on his website.
Then we headed home on Sunday. It was a great time and we both got to relax! Love visiting the in-laws. Sorry there is not more to post I just really needed the time to do nothing!
What did you do this weekend?
i went camping and was in the middle of a major storm! thunder. lighting, 50mph winds...yup, needless to say it will be the most memorable camping trip ever! i was so scared. our tent was practically folded over on itself from all the darn wind. to freak me out even more, we were camped out underneath a GINORMOUS tree.
ReplyDeleteim glad yours was better than mine :)
