TGIF!

Wow I am so glad that it is Friday. I was convinced that yesterday was Friday when I woke up, but no still had 1 more day of work. Don't get me wrong it was not a bad week, just a long week. I had 3 nights of late night activities this week at work, so that makes it a bit longer. So what have I been up to...nothing exciting on the workout front. I think ExerciseTV has some new Jillian Michael's workouts, but I have not tried them yet. I did not do a good job of taking pictures of what I ate this week because a lot of it was on the run, but here is what I do have:

Cereal Fruit and Yogurt one morning, yes there is fruit in there....strawberries and raspberries.  I tired this new Greek Yogurt, because package was cute and it was $0.80 cheaper then the other 2 kinds at Wegmans. I love Chobani, but since I have to do searching for it, I thought for $1 I would give this Brown Cow a try.

I will say this yogurt was just as good as any other Greek I have tried and for almost half the price (and at my normal store) it is on my regular list from now on! And how cute is that Cow!?!

Lunches for the week looked similar to this:

Love that it is peach and apple seasons! Yummy local peaches made this a nice week, as well as carrots, and cucumber, lettuce, and Laughing Cow on Marble Rye is a great sandwich. With a side of Salt and Vinegar PopChips, I loved this lunch.

Since the weather is getting cooler (I do love the fall) oatmeal seemed like a great idea (twice). Also we have lost of fresh fruit (more on that after the weekend) which I love in my oats!
Mix:
1/3 cup oats
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup water
Spoonful of PB
Strawberries
Coconut Flake

Something about warm oats that makes me very happy!

What else happened this week...I started a new book:

Skinny Chicks Don't Eat Salads: Stop Starving, Start Eating...And Losing!

This has been another book about how to change the way you think about food so that you are just healthier altogether. So far so good. And if you have not tried it yet I love the B&N Free E-reader. I have it on my phone and laptop. So easy!

On my frugal kick (that yes I started and have been so bad about posting) I love sales + coupons! Which it was I got this week at Target.

I know Hamburger Helper is not super healthy, but with added veggies and lean meats, Hubby and I enjoy them. And when you can get 5 for $3.50 you can't pass it up!

Hope you have a great weekend, I have something planned this weekend and will tell you about it later! What are your weekend plans?
