Every December my mom, cousins, aunts and I get together to make some holiday cookies. The main reason we get together is to make my Grandmom’s Pizzelle Recipe. (Sorry, family secret that will not be shared on here!). If you are not sure pizzelle’s are a flat Italian cookies that are always made at Christmas. They look like this:
The traditional type are made with anise, I am not a huge fan of those, but the chocolate mint ones I have come up with are awesome (that recipe might come someday!) Here we all are cookie baking away.
