The next step on the “holiday baking train” was the chocolate chip cookies. I have always used the Crisco recipe because I find that it comes out softer. The only change I make to that recipe is to omit the nuts and add 1/2 cup more chocolate chips. This year I mixed up my dough early and had it in the fridge until I had time to bake. This package is a double batch.
So easy this way, I might be moving to this method in the future. In the oven they went and came out as perfect little cookies.
Chocolate Chips are Hubby's favorite so I always make a lot. What is your favorite holiday cookie?
