I have a confession to make, while I may be somewhat OTD about a lot of things, I am really bad about getting haircuts and eyebrow waxings. I think the waxing thing is because I am always nervous that the wax will be too hot and I will get burned (it happened once when I had to go to a funeral). So one day running through the mall to grab something, I saw a threading stand and that it was only $10! Well for that price I knew I wanted to try it.
Last week I finally had the time (and nerve) to actually stop after getting my freebies at Bath and Body Works. The process was actually really quick and although it felt weird at first, I would not say that it hurt at all.

I am very happy with the results of the threading and I hear it should last longer then waxing. That would be great, but I am not holding my breath on that one. If you have not tried it, I would highly recommend it, if like me waxing makes you nervous sometimes.
Who has tried threading? What did you think/did it last longer for you then waxing?
I've had my eyebrows threaded twice at the King of Prussia Mall. The skin rips off my face when I get my eyebrows waxed. I wouldn't say threading is an overly pleasant experience but at least my face is intact! It seems to last the same so far but I've heard your hair grows in thinner with time.

ReplyDeletei had waxing done once and it wasnt so bad. if they had threading in our area id definitely do it.
