It's all over!

Orientation had finally come to it's last day! I am so happy to be back on a normal schedule. I am not going to go over the last few days because really they are quite boring. However, I will share this yummy quesadilla that hubby and I shared on Sunday afternoon.

It was the frozen Wild Harvest Organic Southwest Vegetable quesadilla. It was a random purchase at the store over the weekend but did not look too bad

Hard to read but only 230 calories for half the box.

This was super easy to just heat up in a pan and the flavor was really great. We both enjoyed it and would love to try more Wild Harvest (hint hint!)

Now skip ahead to today. Breakfast was my favorite Earl Grey with a CFY bowl.

My C was Cheerios, F was pineapple, and Y was Chobani Blueberry. I love that the yogurt actually has real blueberries in it!

Lunch was a salad with hummus and cottage cheese again....

Yes I am loving this combo.

Also to celebrate the last day of orientation was another soft serve!

Tonight's dinner will be a freezer meal and I am thinking a Slimdown workout!

Hope you are having a great week, yay for Wednesday already!!

Short day 2

Luckily I only had to go to work for a few hours yesterday to do some presentations. I did some Exercise TV yoga before making some yummy pancakes and heading out. I used 1/2 cup mix with some water, almonds, and blueberries to make these and made my own Skinny Caramel latte!

When I got home it was time for a spinach salad with hummus, cottage cheese, blueberries, and mango slices.

After a nice walk with puppy by the water and a watermelon margarita, it was off to Wegmans to stock up on cottage cheese!

We spent the night with some good friends and family for a birthday party. We had some fun apps, I just had some beer bread I made (recipe soon).

Dinner was pasta salad, sausage, and BBQ chicken.

For dessert we had a fruit tart that was so yummy! It was a fun night although I know I ate a little too much desserts I am ok with that...

Day 1 take 2 and some good news

Today was another day 1 of orientation so it was a muffin and tea to start the day followed by an apple around 10 AM.

Lunch was this awesome salad with spinach and spring mix, red onion, carrot, mushrooms, chickpeas, cottage cheese, and sunflower seeds. I am loving cottage cheese on my salad (as you can see here and here). It just makes the salad so creamy tasting.

Later in the afternoon was some Pretzel M&M's (why do you temp me so!) I got home and did a fun Exercise TV workout, I just felt the need to mix it up a bit today. Hubby and I went to the store to get some fun sale items (forgot to take a picture, but we did get plenty of frozen veggies as the last a lot longer with our often crazy schedules!) Then we hit up Chick-fil-a for some dinner (had a coupon for a free sandwich). I got the nuggets and we split some fries (with mayo because that is what you do with waffle fries).

So on to my good news, if you read about my issues earlier in the month, I wanted to let you know that Aunt Flow finally came (medically induced but hey it is a good step). So now hopefully I will be back on track! Thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated and again thanks for all the support of the previous post. In celebration of being back on track I wanted to share my current "bible" with someone else.

Orientation day 2's

Our seconds days of orientation are a little better for me foodwise (at least I have time to eat breakfast at home). This morning was Chobani pomegranate with pineapple, blueberries, and wheat germ to add some fiber.

With a side of Earl Grey it is a perfect start to my day.

Lunch was a spinach salad with carrots and celery, hummus and cottage cheese. (Can you see the continued cottage cheese obsession lately?)

Yes that was a little small but because I knew this was in my future....

Nothing beats soft-serve on a warm day!

Nothing special tonight, I hope to do some cleaning, get in a good workout, and maybe watch some DVR Dinner tonight will be Chicken Helper Alfredo with added veggies (normal for us to add veggies)

And tomorrow is back to a day 1.... only 6 more days to go....

Time to get oriented

Over the next 8 days we will be running Orientation at work so my hours and meals will be on a 2 day cycle. Because of that I may not be posting all my meals to bore you with. However I will post today's meals as it is the first day:)

Breakfast was a muffin (because I was not feeling like a bagel) and two mugs of tea.(Speaking of tea check out my friends giveaway for some fun teas!)

Lunch was this yummy chicken pesto panini and an apple. With some M&M's later in the afternoon (why do I eat you M and M's when I know it is so hard for me to stop?!?)

Dinner tonight is going to be some veggie chili from the freezer and Food Should Taste Good Chips (review really soon 2 more bags to try).

Tonight will also have a Lower Body workout with the my slimdown and hopefully some time to relax!

Here's to hoping the week goes quickly...
