A full week

This will be my first full week of work since maybe April and not only will it be all week but all weekend and all next week. Have to get my gameface on!

Anyway I was feeling inspired by Sarah and made a Cereal, Fruit and Yogurt bowl this morning. It was Cheerios, Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt, blueberries and pineapple with a side of Earl Grey Tea

Lunch was a surprise order at work and I got my favorite salad in a wrap.

Although I did not eat all of the actually wrap, this salad was as good in wrap form as it is in the salad...tough choice from now on! An apple and mini Clif bar also balance out my meal.

Dinner tonight will be an Asian Hamburger Helper with add Stir Fry Veggies from our Costco pack.

Then it will be a Total Body Slimdown and just trying to be my self prepared for 12 days of work!! Talk to you tomorrow:)

Another Busy weekend

Friday afternoon I got all my errands done and got my chores around the house done. When I got home I did Upper and Core 10 lb Slimdown and then had some dinner. It was a mixed plate but hit the spot.

Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato chips (full review coming soon), carrots, cucumber and hummus. The Clif bar was traded in for a Sam Adams Blackbery Wheat later in the evening.

Saturday was a busy day with projects and helping my mom so some thing. I got in a Total and Core Slimdown in the AM. Then Hubby made us a yummy naan breakfast pizza.
This was mushroom, egg and a little cheese. So yummy we cooked the naan while we scrambled the egg put it all on the naan and into the oven it went.

In the afternoon I decided to make some more Wilton candies. This is such a stress-buster for me.

Here is my work station, coloring melted chocolate, PB and molds!

Pink hearts ready for the fridge. PB cups being filled!
Finished hearts and Chocolate covered Mint Sandwich cookies!
And just because they came out so well here are the PB cups!

Dinner was simple since we had been busy all day. Roasted veggies by my messy chef!

Just some carrots, squash and mushrooms with olive oil into the oven at 425 degrees for 30 mins. With a side of egg white quiche it was a great dinner.

Sunday was a bit of a whirlwind because of Baby Charlotte's Baptism. Hubby was the Godfather! We stopped on the way up for some Starbucks (love the hubby) and go there in plenty of time to help set up something for the party.

Here is a picture of us with Hubby's Family

Here are the tables all set up in the backyard

Cake that my MIL made, so good chocolate with raspberry filling!

And maybe some extra icing for me:)

It was a great day, just very warm and busy.

Anyone do anything fun this weekend?

Working on a Friday?

That is right I am working on a Friday. Not sure until when, we normally leave early on Fridays in the summer even when we do work! Which is good because I have a bunch of chores and errands that need to be done this afternoon.

Last night dinner was a favorite of Hubby and I. Kielbasa on the grill!

This was not last night's plate but you get the idea. We replaced the peas with baked beans, but it was still great and I love the Lite Kielbasa, so juicy on the grill.

After dinner I did the Lower Body 10 lb Slimdown before had to stop with a horrible headache. It did not last long once I got a little caffeine in the form of Coke Zero Vanilla.

Breakfast this morning was a little rushed because hubby and I slept in, but I grabbed some instant oatmeal and added some cottage cheese.

I am loving cottage cheese after my trial the other day! Although it does not look great this breakfast hit the spot. I made a little coffee at work and was all set.

So I am on this new eBook kick. Did you know that both Barnes and Noble and Borders offer free e-readers for your smartphone? I am downloading some books now for our vacation in August. What is your current or all time favorite book?

Off to have some lunch (nothing exciting just some random leftover) and then hopefully leaving early to hit up the Wegmans!

Have a great weekend!

To post or not to post

So I have been going back and forth the past few days with if I wanted to post about this, but something inside me tells me I should in case there is someone else reading that has/is experiencing the same thing. That being said for those I know outside the "blogworld" although I am talking about this on here, I am really not ready to talk about it in person. In fact there are few people in my everyday life that are actually aware of all that had happened this week, so please feel free to talk to be on here about it offer advice but please do not bring it up to me in person yet. Thanks for understanding in advance.

That being said, here goes, Hubby and I went off BCP back in April in hopes of growing our family. So we (the royal we I know its just me) starting charting body temperature and all that. I even found this great site to track it. The site was helpful but my chart was not showing anything (and "Aunt Flow" was not coming to visit). After about 6 weeks I started to feel really funny and still no "Aunt Flow." So since I was prepared in advance, I decided it was time for a test. Negative it was, as would be the next few taken at 2 week intervals when "Aunt Flow" had still not arrived. From my chart I was not sure I had ovulated but thought after 2 months I should have right?

Well from watching one of my favorite shows guilty pleasures, Real Housewives of NJ, I heard that Rose Quartz is suppose to help with fertility. So with that I decided to make myself a rose quartz bracelet. (The crafty side of me needed a project too). Off to Jo-Ann's I went and made my bracelet.

Not a great picture, I will try to post a better one this weekend. So about mid-June I started wearing this every day, I figured what could it hurt. I stopped worry about it for a few weeks knowing that my annual OBGYN visit was the first week in July.

Tuesday I headed to the Doctor's office first thing in the morning. I told her what had been going on and for some reason started to cry (I am not a crier but for some reason, the tears just started). She assured me that there is nothing to worry about (yet) but put me on Provera and ordered a blood test ASAP (hence the Starbucks on Wednesday). So that is where I am right now, taking Provera which from what I gather is a high level of hormones meant to get my system started back up and moving in the right direction.  Hopefully that and the blood test will do the trick! Fingers crossed by at the same time I am prepared for this to be a longer and harder journey then I first anticipated.

So that is where I am, I did not decide to share this for sympathy or anything like that, I think writing about it has just allowed me to really wrap my head around what is going on. Any advice or experience with Provera would be great! Other than that thanks for the ability to share without feeling pressured to talk about it any more then I want.....

The week is flying by

I am sure other people (even those in my office) would disagree but I feel like it is flying. I am skipping Tuesday and will get to that in my next post, but Wednesday morning I had to go get a blood test and since the doctor said it was not good to have a big breakfast, I decided that a Starbucks trip (across the street from the lab) was a great idea. Perfect Oatmeal and a Skinny Vanilla Latte with some blueberries from home, and cottage cheese from the office fridge!

This was my first venture into cottage cheese and I was a little nervous, but I really loved the taste and texture even before I added it to the oatmeal. I will be eating more cottage cheese in the future!

All mixed together, yum!

Lunch was a nice mix.

A spinach salad with olives and goat cheese, Food Should Taste Good Multigran Chips, an apple, and a Luna Bar for a snack. I love the Luna/Clif Bars they make me feel like I am having a treat just they are good for me!

Dinner was a hubby and I favorite, Barber Chicken Stuffers!

With a side of green beans, which I added hot sauce too, it was a prefect light dinner.

I have decided to go back to the 10 lb Slimdown workout for a bit because I felt really great when I was doing that workout. My eating habits have just been all over the place so I am hoping this will help. I did the Upper Body last night and wore my Heart Rate Monitor and it was really not that great of a workout.Oh well I guess I just have to refocus.....

Breakfast this morning was a green monster, but the picture was bad so here is the mix:

5 frozen melon balls
5 frozen cantaloupe balls
1 cup skim milk
1 handful spinach

Blend and serve.

We are busy getting ready for our big summer event at work so I had my favorite work salad order.

This salad is so amazing I just can't get anything else. There was some other crap that I ate at work, but I don't feel like listing all the little bites, just need a better workout willpower tonight.

Time to talk to hubby and getting a laptop for the blog and some other ventures I am working on:)

Enjoy your evening!
